EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Mansfield Mountaineers women's soccer team fell to East Stroudsburg on the road Wednesday (Sept. 16) by a score of 1-0, marking their fourth Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup of the year.
Mounties (1-5-0 | 0-4-0 PSAC)
Angel Gulé had yet another showing with saves in the double-digits, racking up 18 in the contest, and tying her historic career high. Gulé, through six games this season, sits in the top ten in save percentage in the PSAC.
The Warriors (3-3-0 | 2-3-0 PSAC) were able to slip a goal past the Mountaineer defense in the first half, taking a 1-0 lead that they rode with for the rest of the matchup.
Teagan Herbers collected a shot on goal in the second half of play for the Mounties, but the East Stroudburg defense hung on to take the contest 1-0.

Mansfield is back in action on Saturday, Sept. 19, when they will travel to West Chester to take on the Golden Rams for a conference matchup. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m.
