Mounties Suffer Setback Against #5 West Chester

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - The Mansfield Mountaineers field hockey team took a 5-0 loss against nationally ranked Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) rival #5 West Chester.

Mounties (4-6 | 0-1 PSAC) freshman Kiley Moister recorded 13 saves in the outing, obtaining her season high. Offensively, Jenna Duke tallied a shot in the contest.

The Golden Rams (7-1 | 1-0 PSAC) took an early 3-0 lead in the first period.

The Mansfield defense was resilient, holding the West Chester offense to two goals in three periods, but fell to the Golden Rams 5-0.
