Peggy Carl was named to The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) 2026 CSCAA Division III Hall of Fame Class.

Carl was one of 21 inductees each honored for their remarkable accomplishments and enduring influence on collegiate swimming and diving.  Carl was an exceptional swim coach at Carleton College & Occidental College prior to her time at Mansfield.

Carl served as the head men's and women's swimming coach at Occidental College in Los Angeles from 1990 to 2008. Her eighteen years as Occidental's swim coach produced one of the most successful swimming and diving programs in southern California. Carl coached Tiger swimmers and divers to numerous All-Conference and All-America honors, and mentored Jon Dohring to the one-meter and three-meter individual diving titles at the 2007 NCAA Division III Men's Swimming and Diving Championships.
 
Well-known nationally in the world of swimming and diving, Carl has served on numerous NCAA committees and has helped to organize and facilitate scores of National Championships. From 2002 to 2004, she served as chair of the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships Committee. 
 
The induction ceremony will take place on May 4, 2026, at Joe's Live in Rosemont during the CSCAA Annual Awards Celebration, hosted at the Loews Chicago.
