KUTZTOWN, Pa.- The Mansfield men's cross country team opened the 2024 season as they competed in the DII/DIII Challenge hosted by Kutztown University.
Noah Shedden was the top Mountie finisher in his Mansfield debut with an 8K time of 27:24.59.
Isaac Showers and
Owen Showers were the next pair finishing with times of 28:40.82 (46
th) and 29:11.54 (64
th).
Derek Simpson took 74
th with a time of 29:57.37.
Cole Showers finished his first colligate race with an 8K time of 33:54.38.
The Mountaineers are back in action Saturday Sept. 28 as they compete at the Lock Haven Invitational.
