Carrie Claypool and
Anna Duncan earned victories in distance events to highlight the Mansfield Mountaineers women's track and field team at the Jim Taylor Invite, hosted by Susquehanna University, on Saturday, April 6.
Duncan finished in the top spot in the 10K. She ran a PSAC qualifying time of 40:13.99.
Allyson Lewis finished second with a time of 41:26.96.
Claypool finished as the victor in the 5K with a personal best time of 18:32.65.
Abigail Taylor finished second in the triple jump with a best mark of 11.35 meters.
Madison Ziska finished sixth in the long jump with a best mark of 4.72 meters.
In the 800-meter run,
Marissa Allen finished eighth with a PR time of 2:28.74.
Kayla Crawford finished 22
ndwith a time of 2:40.88, and
Anissa Lytle finished 32
nd with a time of 3:04.07.
Lytle finished 30
th in the 1500m with a time of 5:56.57.
Bailey Dockman finished 8
th in the javelin with a mark of 28.94 meters.
Blaze Wood finished 15
th with a mark of 16.34 meters.
Magi Earnest finished ninth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:10.32.
Kaelyn Crawford finished 14
th in the discus throw with a best mark of 22.01 meters.
The Mounties are back in action on Saturday April 13 as they compete Bison Outdoor Classic, hosted by Bucknell University.
