LEWISBURG, Pa.-
Skylar Brown collected two first place finishes on the day to highlight the Mansfield Mountaineers women's track and field team at the Buckell Team Challenge, on Saturday, April 20.
Brown took the top spot in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.63.
Magi Earnest finished 28
th with a time of 13.72.
Brown also made claim to 200-meter dash victory with a time of 23.91, besting her own school record.
Madison Ziska finished 17th with a time of 26.14. Earnest ran a time of 28.97.
Carrie Claypool finished sixth in the 5K with a time of 18:39.01.
Anna Duncan finished 12
th with a time of 19:11.05, and
Anissa Lytle finished with a time of 21:20.45.
Abigail Taylor finished ninth in the long jump with a best mark of 5.13 meters.
Marissa Allen finished 11
th in the 3K Steeplechase with a time of 12:35.63.
In the Women's shot put,
Bailey Dockman,
Kaelyn Crawford and
Blaze Wood finished with throws of 8.40, 8.22, and 6.34 meters.
A Mansfield 4x400 relay team that consisted of Brown, Ziska,
Magi Earnest and Taylor finished fifth with a time of 4:11.84.
