LOCK HAVEN Pa. – The Mansfield Mountaineers women's track and field team had standout performances at the Lock Haven Midweek Meet, on Thursday, March 28.
In the 4x1600 meter relay, a quartet of
Allyson Lewis,
Anna Duncan,
Angie Colon, and
Carrie Claypool took the top spot and established a school record in the event with a time of 22:42.03.
Abigail Taylor,
Madison Ziska and
Skylar Brown all competed in the long jump finishing second through fourth with marks of 5.22, 5.08, and 4.93 meters. Those marks are good for third, fifth and sixth all time at Mansfield.
In the hammer throw,
Bailey Dockman finished seventh with a 27.42 meter mark (eighth in program history) and
Kaelyn Crawford finished eighth with a top mark of 21.17 (ninth best in program history).
Dockman also finished fifth in the javelin with a mark of 28.49 meters.
Blaze Wood finished 10
th with a mark of 23.09 meters.
The quartet of Ziska, Brown, Taylor, and
Magi Earnest finished second in the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:13.68.
