The Mansfield Mountaineer men's cross country team competed in the Houghton Highlander Invitational hosted by Houghton University, on Saturday Oct. 12.
 
Derek Simpson was the best finisher for Mansfield finishing 51^st with an 8K time of 28:05.4.
 
Owen Showers and Seth Neal were not far behind crossing the finish line in 28:29.8 (59^th) and 28:36.6 (63^rd).
 
Freshmen Greysen Kupsky earned PRs with times of 30:30.1 (92^nd) and 30:39.5 (93^rd) respectively.
 
Rylan Ebner rounded out the Mansfield finishers with a time of 34:34.5.               
 
Mansfield is back in action for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships on Oct. 26^th, hosted by Kutztown University.
