Madison Ziska reset her own school record in the long jump to highlight a strong showing, for the Mansfield Mountaineers women's track and field team, at the Highlander Invitational, hosted by Houghton University, on Saturday Jan. 20.

Ziska posted a mark of 5.24, which came on her final jump. She finished third in the event.
Abigail Taylor joined her earning a PR with a jump of 4.77 to finish sixth.

Taylor won the triple jump with a season best 11.32 meter jump.

Ziska joined
Skylar Brown in the 60-meter and 200-meter dashes. Brown won both races decisively, with times of 7.70 and 25.68 respectively.

Ziska finished third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.95. She finished seventh in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.23.

Magi Earnest finished 15
th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 29.96.

Anna Duncan collected a PR and a fourth-place finish in the mile, with a time of 5:32.27.
Carrie Claypool finished sixth in that race with a time of 5:37.60.

Kayla Crawford took sixth place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:06.10.

Kaelyn Crawford finished 12
th in the shot put with a mark of 8.57 meters.
Blaze Wood finished 22
nd with a mark of 6.69 meters.

In the 800-meter run
Marissa Allen finished 18
th with a time of 2:47.68.
Anissa Lytle earned a PR with a time of 2:53.44.

The Mountaineers are back in action on Friday, Feb. 2 for the first day of the YSU Mid Major Invitational, hosted by Youngstown State.
