SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa.- Skylar Brown took centerstage for the Mansfield Mountaineer women's track and field team, as she earned a silver and bronze medal on the final day of the 2023 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, on Saturday, May 13.
 
Brown earned her first All-PSAC honor in the 100-meter dash, finishing second place with a time of 11.77. She repeats as the PSAC runner-up in the outdoor season.

Brown, also earned All-PSAC honors in the 200-meter dash, taking third with a time of 24.37.
 
Brown is the first Mansfield female athlete to win multiple medals in the PSAC Championship since Lauren Norton in 2013-14 (indoor) and the first female athlete to earn two medals in the same PSAC Championships outdoor since Olivia Lopes in 2013.
 
Abigail Taylor finished just off the podium for ninth in the triple jump with a mark of 11.18m.
 
Carly Daniels and Bailey Morgan finished 15^th and 18^th in the 5000-meter run, clocking in with times of 18:38.96. and 19:02.62, respectively.
 
Slippery Rock was crowned the team winner at the PSAC Championships. Shippensburg finished second. The Mounties finish 14^th as a team.
 
That will conclude the track and field season.
