WILLIAMSBURG, VA.-
Skylar Brown broke the 100-meter dash record to highlight the Mansfield University Women's Track and Field team at the Colonial Relays hosted by William and Mary on Friday March 31.
Brown finished with a time of 11.89 which bests the record set back in 2013 by Olivia Lopes (12.05) She finished fourth in the event.
Brown also ran the 200-meter dash finishing 18
th with a time of 25.06, which is the 3
rd fastest in program history.
Carly Daniels finished third in the 5K to open the day with a time of 17:57.17. That is the ninth fastest time in school history.
She was joined by
Bailey Morgan and
Carrie Claypool in the event finishing with times of 18:39.75(17
th) and 19:13.03 (26
th) respectively.
Kayla Crawford finished 59
th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:03.23
Anna Duncan finished 62
nd in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:35.54.
The Mounties are back on Saturday, April 1, for the final day of the Colonial Relays
