MANSFIELD, Pa. – The Mansfield Mountaineers sprint football team landed 12 athletes on the 2023 All-Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) Teams, including four Second-Team members, the conference office announced on Tuesday, Dec. 5.

With 12 members, this marks the most for the program since 2016, when the Mounties had 13 players earn All-CSFL honors.

Terrance Quaker and
Alex Dean highlighted the Mounties on the All-Second Team offense, while
Ian Mapp and
Matt Robert found themselves earning All-Second Team defensive honors.

Among the eight Mounties to earn spots on the All-Honorable Mention Teams were
Cahsid Raymond,
LaTrenton Randle,
Kellen Herman,
Bryce Allen,
Marvens Ravix,
Gavin Hinman,
Gage Aumick, and
Chase Thompson.

Quaker adds another accolade to his already decorated trophy room, earning the Second Team nod after another impressive year. After logging in his career season high in rushing yards (340) and rushing TDs (4), he was also a threat in the passing game with 175 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Dean stood as the command of the Mountie offensive line, earning Second Team for the second straight year. As a focal point on the line, the senior led a high-powered offense that converted 16 touchdowns on the season and pushed out 141.3 rushing yards per game.

Mapp earns his first honor of his career on Second Team, becoming the threat off the defensive line, leading the Mounties in tackles for loss with nine, while forcing two fumbles, recovering one of them, and posting two sacks on the season.

Robert's Second Team honors stands as his fourth consecutive season earning an All-Team honor after being placed on First Team three times. Robert now sits atop the all-time sprint football record for tackles and kept pushing, leading Mansfield in total tackles with 63 and posting 8.5 tackles for loss, while recovering a fumble.

Raymond finished as an honorable mention after leading the offense with his dual-threat mobility. The junior led the team with 568 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns, while throwing for 786 passing yards and five passing touchdowns.

Randle led the team in receiving yards with 356 and caught two touchdowns, including a 74-yard strike to open the game at Chestnut Hill, where he posted 143 yards on the day.

Herman earns his first honorable mention as another force on the offensive line that helped the Mounties offense cruise over the league with their explosive efficiency.

Allen and Ravix had impressive seasons on the defensive line. Allen picked up his first career pick-six at Chestnut Hill and landed seven tackles for loss with 1.5 sacks. Ravix led the team in sacks with 3.5 and had a total of 34 tackles, including 8.5 tackles for loss.

Hinman finished second on the team with 61 total tackles and had 4.5 tackles for loss.

Aumick and Thompson round out the Mounties' members. Aumick earned his second honorable mention after two interceptions, a forced fumble, and 29 total tackles. Thompson led the team with four interceptions and 12 total tackles.

Mansfield finished 4-3 on the season, including winning four of their last five on the year to complete another winning season.

The Mountaineers finished with five straight .500 record or above seasons, all in the
John Evans era. That is the most successful stretch at any level of Mountaineer football since the five seasons from 1963-1967.
