The Mounties evened their all-time series with Chestnut Hill at 3-3 after upending the Griffins, 31-14, on the road last season.
Fifth-year head coach John Evans and the program will honor Dr. Kristen Long (Associate Professor Biology) and Dr. Adam Brennan (Professor Director of Bands) prior to Saturday's home-opener with the presentation of the American Football Coaches Association's "Extra Yard" Game Ball.
"On behalf of the College Football Playoff Foundation, the American Football Coaches Association, and Mansfield University, we are honoring Dr. Kristen Long and Dr. Adam Brennan as part of the "Going The Extra Yard," 5th-year head coach John Evans said. Both Dr. Long and Dr. Brennan do so much for our student-athletes. We would like to present them with an autographed game ball, as well as a t-shirt and a gift card for educational supplies."
