MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Mansfield University women's soccer team went into halftime with a scoreless draw with Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division foe Millersville, but the Marauders used an explosive second half en route to a 6-0 victory on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 17.

The Mounties fall to 0-5-1 overall and 0-5-1 in conference, while Millersville improves to 1-4-1 overall and 1-3-1 in the East.

The Mounties' defense battled Millersville to a first-half draw, but the Ville went up 2-0 through the opening nine minutes of the second half and never looked back.

The Marauders outshot MU 19-3 and won the battle of the corners, 6-0.

Five different Marauders scored goals coming from four assists. The different Mounties recorded shots on goal.

In net, junior
Faith Cameron collected four saves in the loss, while Millersville's Reagan Kolinski earned the 90-minute victory without recording a save.

The Mounties return to Mansfield on Wednesday, Sept. 21 when they welcome Shepherd University to the MU Soccer Field at 4 p.m. in PSAC East play.
