Brown and Serrano Earn All-PSAC Honors on Final Day of Championship

MILLERSVILLE Pa.- Junior Skylar Brown and freshman Aliyah Serrano finished second and third in the 100-meter dash, earning All-PSAC distinction to highlight a podium appearance filled day for the Mansfield University Track and Field team on the final day of the PSAC Championships.
 
Brown and Serrano finished the 100-meter dash with times of 12.17 and 12.23. Brown moves up to second fastest in program history. While Serrano matched her career best and sits in third fastest in school history. 
 
The pair doubled up reaching the podium in the 200-meter dash. Serrano finished fourth with a time of 25.06, and Brown took seventh with a 25.56. 
 
The duo started their day joined by freshmen Abigail Taylor and Island Blanche in the 4x100-meter relay finishing seventh with a time of 49.49. 
 
Taylor took home a fifth-place finish in the triple jump with a best mark of 11.06.
 
Senior Sean Ringgold took two fourth place finishes in the 200- and 400-meter dashes. Ringgold collected 21.83 and 48.95 times in those races.
 
Ringgold was joined by junior Terrance Quaker, and freshmen Aaron Thomas and Jackson Doughty in the 4x400-meter relay that took eighth place with a time of 3:22.25.
 
Ben Chambers finished 12th in the pole vault clearing 3.65 meters. Chambers and senior Donoven Cook were honored as graduating seniors before the day's events began. 
 
This concludes the 2022 outdoor track season.
