MANSFIELD – Mansfield University Athletics will host its annual Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, September 21.
 
Four teams will be in action on Saturday with Softball hosting Lackawanna at 10 a.m. at Helen Lutes Field, Field Hockey vs. East Stroudsburg at 1 p.m. at Karl Van Norman Field, Women's Soccer vs. East Stroudsburg at 3 p.m. at the soccer field, and Football vs Chestnut Hill at 7 p.m. at Van Norman Field.
 
The day will feature military vehicle displays, presentation of the colors by the Mansfield University ROTC, a military medley from the Mansfield University Marching Band, recognition of service members and veterans in attendance, and more. Anyone with a military I.D. will be admitted free of charge to Saturday night's football game.
 
Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase a commemorative Salute the Troops t-shirt throughout the day. A portion of the proceeds will benefit on-campus military organizations.
