Nicholas Auchenbach hit a PSAC mark and new personal best in the men's 400-meter hurdles and
Hunter Watkins compiled an NCAA provisional mark in the men's javelin throw in a solid first day for Mansfield at the Fred Hardy Invitational.
Mansfield hit the ground running with senior
Kenzie Jones hitting a PSAC mark in the women's 1,500-meter run, finishing with a time of 5:00.87. Jones was followed by freshman
Aaron Coleman who compiled a new personal best in the men's portion of the 1,500-meter run with at 4:43.36.
Auchenbach continued his tremendous outdoor season, hitting a PSAC mark and new PR in the men's 400-meter hurdles at 54.96 seconds. Auchenbach's time beat his previous personal best by just under two seconds.
Watkins once again stole the show in the field events, hitting his second NCAA provisional mark of the season along with another PSAC mark in the men's javelin throw at a distance of 59.52-meters.
