MANSFIELD – Women's soccer succumbed to the pressure of #16 Millersville by a final score of 5-1 this afternoon.
Millersville's Kay Liebl had a hat trick on the day with Michelle Belcher & Savannah Rennix all scoring for the Maruaders.
Cay McNichol secured the Mountaineer's only goal in the 60th minute from a
Breanna Murphy assist. McNichol led the Mounties with 4 shots. Murphy,
Olivia Bowman, and
Eleni Gebbia all combined for 4 shots as well on the day.
Sophomore
Stephanie Moir had 11 saves on the day. With today's match, Moir now sits as the all-time sareer saves leader. Moir additionally set the single-season saves record for the women's soccer program.
The Mounties have their final home match of the year Saturday when Kutztown comes to town. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00pm.
