Mansfield is coming off a 59-44 defeat at Chestnut Hill last week despite a 30-point fourth quarter rally. Quarterbacks

Gary Raupers II combined for 343 yards through the air and four touchdowns while running back
Jayden Walker was responsible for three scores in the game.

D.J. McLean hauled in four passes for 104 yards at Chestnut Hill and now sits just 26 yards away from passing Kurt Logan (2013-16) for the top spot on the all-time receptions list.

Navy is 1-1 overall with a season-opening 45-7 rout of Franklin Pierce followed by a 17-14 loss to Army West Point. Quarterback Walt Fagan has totaled 332 yards and five touchdowns over the first two games and his favorite target J.T. Thompson is averaging 113 yards a game.

In their last meeting, Navy held on to a slim 17-14 lead over Mansfield going into the fourth quarter before scoring 24 unanswered points to secure the win.

Following Friday's game, the Mountaineers complete the three-game road trip at Post University in Waterbury, Conn. on Oct. 13 before hosting Franklin Pierce for Homecoming on Oct. 20.
