BLOOMSBURG – Ryan Clifford and Quincy Amabile finished 1-2 to lead the Mansfield men to a 1^st place finish with Kenzie Jones and Lyndsey Payne also taking the top two spots in the women's race at the Husky Invitational on Thursday.
 
Jones and Payne cruised to the 1-2 finish in the women's 4K race registering times of 16:14 and 16:24 respectively. The duo finished 11 seconds ahead of the first Bloomsburg runner.
 
Freshman Hailey Weidenhammer was the third Mansfield runner to cross the line at 19:07 followed by Rochelle Myers at 19:24.
 
In the men's 4K, Clifford won the race with a time of 13:02 followed by Amabile at 13:17. In the final stretch, Jordan Holmes dug deep to overcome two Bloomsburg runners and finish sixth at 13:57.
 
Travis Keefe took seventh at 14:02 with Ryan Morrissette rounding out the Mansfield contingent at 14:31.

The men's team won the race with a score of 26-29.
 
The Mountaineers return home to host the Mansfield Duals on Sept. 8.
