EDINBORO - On a weather-worn course, Mansfield's
Ryan Clifford finished second at the PSAC Cross Country Championships hosted by Edinboro University on Saturday. Teammate
Quincy Amabile also cracked the Top-10 with an eighth-place finish for the men.
Clifford paced the mud-ridden race with a 5:24 mile split, clocking in at 26:51, just four seconds behind the winner Josh Coakley from West Chester. It marks the highest finish ever for a Mansfield cross country athlete in program history at the PSACÂ meet.

Junior Amabile checked-in at 27:14, for a 5:29 mile pace.

With Clifford and Amabile both placing in the Top-15, they earned First Team All-Conference accolades from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

Kenzie Jones and
Lyndsey Payne crossed the line back-to-back at 46 and 47, respectively, for the women in the 6k.

In total, Mansfield had five Top-100 runners between the men and the women.

The men's team finished 12th overall and the women placed 16th.Â
