Larissa Motts tied the game with her first-half goal, but No. 3 East Stroudsburg scored five unanswered to earn a 6-1 victory on Senior Day at Karl Van Norman Field on Saturday.

Gabby Hieber were honored by coaches, teammates and family as part of the Senior Day ceremony.

East Stroudsburg (15-3, 9-1 PSAC) was led by Kelli Shapiro's four goals in the game.

Shapiro put the Warriors on the board in the 29 minute with a backhanded goal. However, Motts answered for the Mounties in the 43
rd minute with her seventh score of the year.
Gabby Hieber was credited with the assist after finding Motts through traffic who finished in the cage.

Mansfield (8-10, 4-6 PSAC) went into halftime tied 1-1.

ESU controlled the second half, scoring five unanswered goals to earn the win. Shapiro scored three of her four and Ashley Ceschini added two.

Madison Wilinsky recorded her PSAC-leading fifth defensive save in the first half of play.

Mansfield finishes the season 8-10 overall for the second straight year and improves its conference record by a game at 4-6. It is the most wins in back-to-back seasons for the program since winning 11 games in both the 2006 and 2007 seasons.

The Mountaineers finished just one place out of the PSAC Playoff picture at seventh, but is two places ahead of their predicted finish according to the preseason coaches' poll.
