KUTZTOWN – The Mansfield women's soccer team dropped a 7-0 contest at #8 Kutztown University on Friday afternoon. The Golden Bears were able to score in the third minute of play, and never looked back from there. Each goal was scored by a different Golden Bear player, six of which came in the first half.

Stephanie Moir started in net and Kutztown fired-off nineteen shots in the first half. She made five stops in net before the intermission, but the Golden Bears were able to strike from all over their lineup. Six different players scored in the first 45 minutes of play.
Brianna Roys stepped in at the 66
th minute. In her 24 minutes of play, Roys faced nine shots, saving six. She didn't allow a goal.

With Kutztown's stifling defense providing a shutout,
Bria Bittiger was able to provide three shots for the Mounties offense. However, her record-setting streak of consecutive games with a goal scored came to an end. The senior forward's record began against Clarion on September 23
rd. She went on to score a goal in each of the next two contests to tie Delaney Meadows (2015),
Erika Moyer (2012), and Lyndie Keiser (2005) with a three-game goal-scoring streak. Then, on Saturday, the Saylorsburg, Pa. native was able to tally another goal against Indiana to take sole possession of the record with her fourth consecutive game.
