BLOOMSBURG – Ryan Clifford and Allison McCurry continued to lead the respective teams as both the Mountaineer men and women took second overall at the Husky Invitational on Saturday.

Clifford finished fifth overall in the men's 8K with his time of 28:22. Quashaun Jaquay Willis (28:53) and Bailey Lutz (30:17) rounded out the top three for Mansfield with finishes of ninth and 11th respectively.

The men's team averaged a time of 30:48 and took second out of four teams.

McCurry also finished fifth to lead the women's team with a 6K time of 24:21. Kirsten Anderson was 11th at 25:46 and Melanie Hilliard took 12th with her time of 26:22.

The women's side averaged a time of 26:25 and finished behind the host Bloomsburg.

Next up for the Mounties is the PSAC Championships hosted by Kutztown on Oct. 22.
