Jesse Jones and
Joelsen Resimo led the Mountaineer men to a first place team finish while
Allison McCurry topped the women's side for a third place team finish on a soggy senior day at Lamb's Creek Cross Country Course Saturday.

Following both meets, seniors Jones, Resimo,
Quashaun Jaquay Willis,
Nathan Fox,
Kelly Snyder,
Allison Macon and
Alexandria Gallagher were honored by coaches and teammates in a senior day ceremony.

Running in the lead pack the entire race, Jones finished third overall with a time of 15:54 which was just three seconds off winner Daniel Neiswender of Bloomsburg. Resimo was just steps behind, finishing fourth at 16:02.

Junior
Ben Drexler took sixth at 16:15 with Willis finishing eighth at 16:17. Freshman
Bailey Lutz rounded out the Mountaineer's top five with a time of 16:28 to finish 15
th.

McCurry led the Mountaineer women with a fifth place finish at 19:01.
Destiny Foster took 11
th at 19:27 and Macon 13
th at 19:38.

Snyder turned in a time of 20:12 to finish 20
th followed by
Melanie Hilliard at 20:34 for 23
rd overall.

Bloomsburg's Kate Dodds topped the field at 17:52.
Â
The Mountaineers will take two weekends off before returning to action at Geneseo's Mike Woods Invitational on Oct. 3.
