FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Foster Hits NCAA Provisional Time in 10K at Penn Relays
 
PHILADELPHIA – Sophomore Destiny Foster hit an NCAA provisional mark in the 10,000-meter run late Thursday night at the 121^st Annual Penn Relays at historic Franklin Field.
 
Foster finished with a time 36:53.12 to finish 16^th overall in the mostly Division I field despite battling through injury through a majority of the race. Her time came under the NCAA DII provisional qualifying standard of 36:56.20.
 
Foster's 10K time currently ranks 5^th in the PSAC and 41^st in the nation.
 
Mountaineer track & field will also be in action this weekend at Cornell's Big Red Invitational on Sunday.
