Lipski Scores but Mounties Fall at Shippensburg

SHIPPENSBURG – Katie Lipski scored off a penalty stoke but Mansfield fell to Shippensburg 7-1 in a PSAC field hockey match Saturday afternoon.

Lipski scored her first collegiate goal in the 69^th minute putting the ball off the goalie's stick at the right post.

Shippensburg got two goals early in the game from Cassie Rawa with Madison Scarr scoring two second half goals.

Mansfield recorded 16 saves in the game with picking up 10 and Gabrielle Spatz stopping five shots in relief.

Mansfield travels to East Stroudsburg Wednesday.
