FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Lambert Sets 800m Record at Larry Ellis Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – Freshman Michaela Lambert continued to rewrite the Mansfield records books, this time inking her name on the women's outdoor 800m record at Princeton's Larry Ellis Invitational on Friday.

Lambert's time of 2:14.68 bettered Nicole Dann's 800m record of 2:17.4 set during the 2006 season. The freshman finished 38^th overall in a field of mostly Division I competition.

The record is Lambert's second of the outdoor season and fifth overall this year. Lambert set the 400m outdoor record earlier this season with a time of 56.53.

Mike Robinson hit an NCAA provisional time in the 1,500m run with his time of 3:51.6.
