FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Women Set DMR School Record; Both DMRs Hit NCAA Provisional Marks

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Mansfield women's Distance Medley Relay team set a program record as both DMR teams hit NCAA provosional marks Friday night at Bucknell's Bison Multi & Open.

The DMR team of Kristy Scordino, Michaela Lambert, Melissa Cruz and Lauren Norton placed second with a record time of 12:13.75. The time beat the previous school record of 12:16.9 set by Brenae Edwards, Clarissa Cummings, Erica Ferguson and Alexa Tsiknas in 2010. The women's splits were 3:46 – 58.5 – 2:22 – 5:06.

Mike Robinson, Bob McCoy, Jacob Portock and Joelsen Resimo finished third in the men's DMR with a time of 10:14.09. Robinson blazed the track during the 1,200m leg of the race with a 3:01 followed by 51.5 – 1:58 – 4:23.

Mountaineer track and field is in action tomorrow at Cornell's Denault Invitational.
