th Place Finish at PSAC Championships

Jesse Jones led the Mountaineer men to a 12
th place team finish Saturday morning at the PSAC Cross Country Championships at Lamb's Creek Cross Country Course in Mansfield.

It marked the first time that Mansfield has hosted the PSAC Championships since 1977. Lamb's Creek Cross Country Course played host to the ECAC Championships two weeks ago and the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships back in 2009.

Jones registered a time of 25.56.3 to lead the Mountaineer men with a 33
rd place finish overall. Jones was just three spots away from picking up All-PSAC accolades.

Shakim Blackwell was the next finisher for Mansfield with a time of 27:05.3. Quashaun Willis and
Carson Ayers finished 88
th and 89
th respectively at 27:53 followed by Den Drexler at 94
th with a time 29:33.2 for 117
th.

Jordan Boothe was 123
rd at 29:56.8 followed by
Brandon Emmett who finished 125
th at 30:37.4.

Lock Haven won its second straight PSAC title, scoring just 38 points with all seven runners in the top 20. California's Aaron Dinzeo won the individual title with a time of 24:18.7.

The Mountaineers will gear up for the NCAA Atlantic Regionals on Nov. 22 hosted by Slippery Rock.
