Brielle Filtch scored her fourth goal of the season, but it wouldn't be enough as Mansfield fell to Kutztown 5-1 on Senior Day.

No. 18 Kutztown (13-4, 12-4 PSAC) struck first with a goal from Diana Malanga in the 30
th minute of the first half. The goal was unassisted and gave Kutztown a one goal lead heading into halftime.

The Golden Bears were able to extend their lead early in the second half with two goals from leading goal scorer Sam Costello in the 47
th and 51
st minutes. Both goals were unassisted and were the 8
th and 9
th goals of the season for Costello.

Kutztown struck again just four minutes later when Taylor Burt cleaned up a rebounding ball and headed it into the back of the net. It was Burt's first goal of the season and gave the Golden Bears a 4-0 lead just 10 minutes into the second half.

The Mountaineers were able to break through when
Brielle Filtch scored off a
Nicole Semenza free kick at the 80:42 mark. It was Filtch's team leading fourth goal of the season and Semenza's first assist of the 2014 campaign.

Kutztown would add one more goal in the 86
th minute to come away with a 5-1 victory.

Kutztown owned a 12-5 advantage in shots on goal over the Mountaineers. The Golden Bears took 15 corners while Mansfield took four.

th win of the year for the Golden Bears.

The Mountaineers finish the season with three overall wins, 13 loses and one tie. Mansfield finished with a PSAC record of two wins, 13 loses and one tie.
