FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  Kutztown scores two late goals to beat Mansfield 3-1 in PSAC women's soccer

MANSFIELD – Senior Erika Moyer tied the game at 1-1 on a breakaway goal in the 71st minute, but Kutztown rallied with a pair of goals over the final 12 minutes of the contest to pull out a 3-1 win over Mansfield in PSAC women's soccer action Tuesday afternoon.

The teams battled to a scoreless tie in the first half before Kutztown's Taylor Higgins hit a goal from five yards out less than two minutes into the second half.

The Mountaineers Erika Moyer scored her third goal of the season and 13th of her career, beating the goalie five yards out on the right post to tie the score at 1-1 with less than 20 minutes to play. Lauren Boess was credited with the assist.

Kutztown's Diana Malanga gave the Golden Bears a 2-1 lead with an unassisted goal with just over 10 minutes to play and Sam Coselllo scored on a header off a penalty corner with less than a minute remaining in the game.

Kutztown (6-3-0, 5-1 PSAC) held a 17-6 shot advantage and Alexis Wilhelm recorded seven saves for the Mountaineers.

Mansfield (1-6-1, 0501 PSAC) host Shepherd this Saturday starting at 1 p.m.
