FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Men's Cross Country Takes 8^th at Gettysburg Invite

GETTYSBURG – Jesse Jones finished 17^th overall with a time of 26:19 to pace the Mountaineer men's cross country team to an 8^th place overall finish out of a field of 35 teams Saturday morning at the Gettysburg Invitational. Will Mullen was just behind Jones in 21^st with a time of 26:19.

Today's invite marks the Mountaineer's final regular season races of the season. Mansfield will travel to Slippery Rock for the PSAC Championships on Saturday, Oct. 20 before going to Lock Haven for the NCAA Atlantic Regionals on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Jake Shedden's time of 27:18 was good for a 58^th place finished while Alex Beard was 68^th at 27:29. Jordan Boothe rounded out Mansfield's top five with a 100^th place finish at 28:03.

Savannah Boucher turned in a mark of 22:49 in the women's race to finish 7^th overall. Amy Lee was 98^th with a time of 25:07.
