LEWISBURG, PA – Senior sprinter
Justen Johnson had a record setting day in the men's 60m dash Saturday afternoon at Bucknell's Bison Open & Multi.
One week after breaking the school 400m record that stood for 18 years, Johnson broke his own record of 7.11 in the 60m dash not once, but TWICE. In the 60m prelims, Johnson broke his record by running a place time of 7.08. In the finals, Johnson re-broke his own record again with a time of 7.02, finishing 3rd overall in the event.
The senior finished 1st in the men's 500m event with a time of 1:05.42.
Currently, Johnson owns Mansfield school records in the 60m, 400m and 300m events.
