MANSFIELD -  Excessive rain and flood damage to Mansfield's Lambs Creek Cross Country Course has forced the cancellation of the annual Mountaineer Flatland Invite that was scheduled for September 17. Officials feel that the course will not be ready in time for the scheduled date.

Mansfield cross country will instead participate in the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational hosted by Penn State University on September 17.
