MANSFIELD –

Amanda Quinn recording a defensive save in their 1-0 loss to Bloomsburg University Tuesday evening.

Mansfield's
Sara Weaver had an excellent chance for Mansfield to score its first goal in the game. Weaver broke past the defender trying to receive a deflected ball off of a Mountie corner. She then took a shot towards the back right corner, beating Bloomsburg goalie, Frances Nicoletti, only to have Huskie defender, Aimee Bux there for the defensive save.
It wasn't until 14 minutes left in regulation that Bloomsburg scored its one and only goal. Bloomsburg's Samantha Fox rifled a shot off to the left post but Wilhelm was there to record her eighth save of the game. Wilhelm however, was only able to deflect the ball off her diving save which ended up at the feet of Bloomsburg's Tara Huber who tapped the ball in from seven yards out to the bottom right of the net.
Erika Moyer had two shots for Mansfield while Weaver had the only shot on goal.
