FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Women's soccer gives up four goals in second half in loss to West Chester 6-0

MANSFIELD – West Chester University's Melissa McKeary opened up the scoring on an unassisted goal just a little over eight minutes into the first half when goalie,
Samantha Deliere, knocked away a shot with the ball rolling four yards out in front of McKeary.
20 minutes later, Sarah Oswald scored the last goal of the first half when teammate, Jen Hutchinson received a ball off of a Mountie defender attempt to steal and passed it to Oswald as she hit it across the net to the bottom right corner. Oswald continued in the second half scoring another goal and getting an assist.
Deliere had four saves in goal while teammate,
Alexis Wilhelm had one and
Leah Fuerst had a defensive save. West Chester's Lyndsie Bernardini had two saves in goal.
West Chester out-shot Mansfield 27-6 with 11 of them on-goal against Mansfield's two on-goal shots.
The Mounties will host Indiana University of Pennsylvania Wednesday at 4:00 pm.
