FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mountaineers close out 2012 with Winter Park Rotary Tangerine Tournament

WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Mansfield University men's basketball team closes out 2012 with a pair of games as part of the 38^th annual Winter Park Rotary Tangerine Tournament hosted by Rollins College on Dec. 29 and 30. The Mountaineers are set to take on Rollins Saturday at noon before playing either Shaw University or Flagler University the following day.

Mansfield enters the tournament with a 2-5 overall record and a 1-4 PSAC mark after picking up wins over Roberts Wesleyan and California (Pa.)

The Mountaineers are led by sophomore Joe Bell who's averaging 17.4 points and 9.9 rebounds an outing. Last week, Bell was named PSAC East Athlete of the Week for his performance against California and IUP.

Senior Chuck Harper is averaging 12.0 points a game while junior Onyema Utti is averaging 10.0.

Rollins enters Saturday's game with a 7-1 overall record.
