FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Men's basketball program to hold 5th annual 3-man scramble golf tournament at Corey Creek Golf Club on Sunday, October 3

On Sunday, October 3, the Mansfield University men's basketball program will be holding its 5th Annual 3-Man Scramble Golf Tournament at Corey Creek Golf Club in Mansfield.

All profits from the golf tournament will be used for scholarships for future Mansfield men's basketball student-athletes. The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 1:00pm. The cost is $300.00 per team. Each team must have a minimum USGA Handicap of 30.

• 1st prize - $1,200.00
• 2nd prize - $900.00
• 3rd prize - $600.00
• 4th prize - $300.00

*payout based on minimum field of 28 teams

If you are unable to attend the tournament, you can still help by becoming a sponsor. All sponsors will have their name or business prominently displayed at the golf tournament with the level of sponsorship attached. The levels of sponsorship are:

• “National Champion Sponsor” - $1,000 or more
• “Slam Dunk Sponsor” - $500 or more
• “3-Point Sponsor” - $300 or more
• “Jump Shot Sponsor” - $100 or more
