Steve has been described as the most prolific pitcher in PA collegiate baseball history. He is still the All-Time win leader in MU and PSAC baseball history; still holds the PSC and school records for wins in a season (12) and career (36), innings pitched in a season (12) and career (36), innings pitched in a season (97) and career (298.1) and most striekouts in a career. His 14 game winning streak set the state and school record and was the 14^th longest in NCAA Division II history.
