Bobkowski was the quarterback of the Mountaineers during the 1946 and 1947 seasons. He led the team to an undefeated season and Pennsylvania State Championship in 1946 as one of the famed “Casey’s Boys”. He was honorable mention ‘All-State’ quarterback in 1946.
