FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mountaineer Track Solid in Final Tune-up Before PSAC Meet
 
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Mansfield University indoor track & field teams had a solid showing at Cornell University's Denault Invitational Saturday afternoon in the final tune-up before the conference championships.
 
Freshman Jordan Boothe hit a PSAC qualifying time in the 800m run with his mark of 2:01.39.
 
Sophomore Olivia Lopes and freshman Allison Macon finished 5^th and 6^th respectively in the 300m dash. Lopes came in at 42.15 while Macon finished at 43.31.
 
Freshman Latimere Campbell came away with a 4^th place finish in the men's 300m dash at 37.13 while Jeysonlee Jones took 7^th at 38.67.
 
Junior Savannah Boucher finished 5^th in the 1,000m run with a personal best time of 3:04.72.
 
Michael Leiwant won the 600m run with a mark of 1:33.81.
 
The Mountaineers are back in action on February 23^rd and 24^th for the PSAC Indoor Championships hosted by Edinboro University.
