Edwards Sets New School Mark in 3000

Brenae Edwards broke her won school record with a time of 9:57.24 in the Great Dane Classic at The Armory in New York City. It was the fastest 3000 time in the PSAC this season.

NEW YORK, NY – Brenae Edwards broke her own school record with a fourth-place finish in the 3000 meters at the Great Dane Classic at the Armory in New York City.

Edwards, running in an all NCAA Division I heat, finished fourth overall with a time of 9:57.24 bettering her previous school record mark of 10:02.0 set in 2010.

Shauna McNiff of the University of Connecticut won the event with a time of 9:38.04.
