FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Soccer Scrimmage Highlights Second Week of Preseason Camp

Head soccer coach Tim Dempsey came away pleased with his team's overall effort when the Mountaineers hosted Juniata this past Wednesday.

The women's soccer squad had several great scoring opportunities which were products of good team play by Mansfield. The highlight of the game was a first half goal by Erika Moyer when she received an airborne pass and put the ball in the back of the net.

“It was a very good effort from a number of individuals” said head coach Tim Dempsey “We have a lot to improve on this season but we'll be able to work on it as the season progresses”.

The women's soccer team opens their season September 4th at Goldey-Beacom College in Deleware.
